The Sipoo Beanie is a fitted beanie with a cozy, triple-layered brim featuring colorwork inspired by the historic Sipoo Tapestry, dating back to the 18th century. The strong floral vine motif framing the tapestry runs seamlessly around the head in the beanie.
This pattern is for personal use only and may not be used for any commercial purposes.
WORKFLOW
The beanie is worked in the round, bottom-up, starting with the colorwork. The brim is double-folded so that the floats are left inside the fold. Lastly, the crown decreases are made to create a round shape.
